If you're in the market for one, look for the Lexus version, LX570.

There are more of them out there and are cheaper.

I bought mine with 200k miles on it for under $20k. The engine is probably broken in now.

Probably not far off. A quick KBB shows private sale of ~$24k with my zip code. Brand new ones start at around $85k and are honestly pretty bare bones against their competition. Albeit, that's the appeal with the Toyotas; less stuff to break.

We were looking at getting a used 4Runner or Land Cruiser for my wife. They're just too damn expensive. Hell of a ROI, though! Buy a 4Runner new for $45k, put 40k miles on it, and sell it three years later for $42k.
