Is it possible to find configurator websites for older BMWs?
I have been looking for ages for the older versions of the BMW Build Your Own/Configurator websites. I think that it would be really cool to go back and build out many of the older models, see all the different factory options etc. I believe the online tool came out around the launch of the E90 in 2005.
I've looked at websites like WayBack Machine and while I can view snapshots of certain webpages, there is no way to actually launch the web app that allows you to configure the car. Does anyone have any insight on how to accomplish this, or if there are alternative tools out there? Thank you.

I've always wanted this, especially for things like the E31 850CSi, E38 750iL and that sort of thing.

The configurators probably make backend requests for data, you wont be able to reproduce that with wayback machine. Its only going to show you static frontend content, sadly.
