Please create a "STICKY" for 335 1/4 mile results. Thank you.
This STICKY would be for REAL track results and should include timeslips and videos.
Please no electronic (G-tech, etc.) results. Real track results only. Hopefully owners will start running their cars ASAP. I am DYING to get track info from XEDE equipped 335 owners. Thanks. |

Here's all the data so far. Looks like 104 trap speed is the average. I noticed the only sedan trapped a little lower than the others, but obviously there isn't enough data to make anything from that.

13.4 sec average at 104 mph trap speed.
add engine management/exhaust = 90 wheel torque and 50 whp. all of the sudden 12.5 @ 115 doesn't sound so unrealistic. add lightweight flywheel, and whatever other engine mods are bound to come out all of the sudden 12.1 @ 125 doesn't sound so unrealistic either. |

I would still like a STICKY to be created to document 335 track performances along with timeslips and videos.
Something like this: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...214565&page=68 |

It would still be great to have a "sticky" thread at the top with all this info as well. |

Dragtimes.com already does this with timeslips and videos for those that post them. So, no need here. just check out dragtimes.com

No matter what, put your times in dragtimes.com. Its a national data base with all kinds of cars in it, and nicely categorized. Plus we will have all kinds of 335i BMWs, not just forum members. Be sure to put in your ambient temp, and mods. |

Why don't we think of every possible thing we would want to know from someone in a post if we create a drag slip sticky.
1) Model and Transmission 2) Elevation, Temp and Humidity 3) All performance modifications done to the car 4) Level of gas ran and how much gas in the tank? (ex: 93 octane and 1/4 of a tank) 5) Any weight reduction done to the car?? (ex: removal of rear seats) 4) Type of tires and rims?? (size and weight if possible) 5) Years of driving the type of transmission?? (this goes for mainly manual transmission, so if you are relatively new and are an "ok" driver let us know, this def makes a difference) 6) Obviously some type of proof of your 0-60 time, trap speed and finally quarter mile time. Preferably some video or slip or link to the drag time slip website to your direct slip. I just thought this might help to show some of the people the actual modifications and not just posting times up and nothing else.............if anyone has any other ideas to add on, join the party, this is a great idea for a sticky, promotes safe driving (professional track racing instead of street racing and promotes friendly competition by modifiers to push the limits) |

Just because you create a sticky on this forum doesn't mean you can't add posts to it and properly post a Slip with the information wanted and needed. (not sure if you knew or not )
