Because a heavy EV sedan is similar to this product category 🧐
The whole point of the Z4 or concept Coupé is to GT around vast miles. I drove 320 miles the other day just for fun. Couldn’t get half way in my tesla with the mountains destroying the range and no superchargers anywhere on the route. |

As an owner of a Ferrari GTC4Lusso (my daily)… I absolutely love this thing. Perfect for a weekend or even a daily and there is nothing like it on the road

I'd buy it. Put the S58 in with a manual and lets GO.

Why are you even comparing a 2 seater combustion engine sports coupe to a 4 seat electronic toaster? 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

As a long-term Z4M coupe owner, I love this. My E39 M5 and Z4M coupe are my "keepers" but if this ever came to the US with a manual transmission...
Luckily for my savings account, neither of these seem reality-based (especially the manual transmission part!).

I know it's just a "modified" Z4 for the most part but this reveal, regardless if it's still concept, has got me excited about BMW - something that hasn't really been there over the last few years except for a model or two.

This could have been done better honestly, a mish mash of a X4/X6 style tail lights and Z4 head lights doesn’t sit well IMHO, why would they not redesign the front end? An already 4 year old front design copied from Z4 that bugs me the most when all newer models are becoming sleeker in appearance. And that one hideous overhang. This is one car that would look good in a boxy form factor Again I am entitled to my opinion and I don’t claim to be expert or correct I appreciate the rarity of this form factor and how iconic the coupe was in the old days. It’s not going to be easily available, another cash cow for BMW, they figured how to make huge margins with XM and following similar trajectory. It’s a business after all! Any any thoughts on those door handles for a “concept” car?

Except for the size… why does everything need to roll on 21” wheels? This is a small coupe for Pete’s sake, 19’s would be plenty big visually, would weigh a boatload less, and wouldn’t make an otherwise impressive looking braking system look puny.
25-profile rear tires are going to ride real nice too… there’s nothing like pointless NVH in your grand-touring coupe. Despite the technical reasons why 21” wheels on this car are stupid, to me they just look too damn big. 20” look great on a 5 Series, which is a WAY bigger car than this. Rant off. |

Clearly this was designed by an outside/rogue design group. Beautiful flowing design with a proper front end. They may bring me back if this trend continues!

If they don’t change up the design? Yes. I would heavily consider it but let’s see if BMW actually does it.

One article I read today suggested $150,000, another suggested 250,000 and the third suggested $500,000.
Any of those amounts would be I think ridiculous. As cool as this is, I can’t imagine anyone dropping that kind of money on it. |
