I will unquestionably be voting for Donald J Trump in November.

Before perhaps 2009-2010 I didn't think of DJT, but i think I considered him a Democrat. He was also considered synonymous with success. I can think of occasions that date to at least the 90s where I heard someone associate Trump with wealth and/or success. I think that probably changed when he started calling out the situation connected to Obama's place of birth.

Today, I see President Trump as...

A: ...the result (rather than the cause) of a political movement that is so significant that he won even with his personal and political weaknesses.

B: ...being lucky to have the financial fortitude, and long-standing favorable public position to withstand the massive Democrat attack machine being aimed at him full blast.

C: ...the biggest 'never-met' hero in my life. His candidacy-to-date has been a huge inspiration. (Totally serious, not facetious)

I take it you're a fan of Jared Kushners as well? And the position he was given?

I'm not here to sell anyone on Trump specifically, but what Trump did was objectively unbelievable. Never in modern history did someone accomplish such a feat as winning the US presidential election without ever holding office. Only political bias/hatred could obscure this clear reality.

I don't know enough about JK to call myself a fan or anti fan. Admittedly, I do think winning Ivanka's heart is an extremely impressive accomplishment.

Are you old enough to remember "swift-boating"? If so, did you denigrate Kerry for his VN service?

Or just the facts, ma'am:

"5 presidents had never been elected to public office before becoming president: Zachary Taylor, Ulysses S. Grant, Herbert Hoover, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Donald Trump. Most of these had, however, been appointed to several prominent offices. Hoover's contributions toward the Treaty of Versailles preceded his appointment as United States secretary of commerce. Taylor, Grant and Eisenhower led U.S. forces to victory in the Mexican–American War, American Civil War and World War II, respectively – each occupying the highest-ranking command post of their time. Trump is the group's sole exception, having never held any public office nor any military position. "

I'm throwing the BS flag on the above. Donald Trump served as Platoon Sergeant during his time at the New York Military Academy in the 1960's! Not quite as large of a command as Ike had, but certainly more relevant to be Commander-in-Chief than a, um, "community organizer" IMHO.....

Holding a rank or position under the cadet ranking system in a military academy hardly qualifies as a “military position.” If they are to be considered official military positions, then junior and senior level JROTC/ROTC kids should force NCO’s to salute them while we’re at it.

Trump’s “military service” is questionable even at the academy. Of course, according to him, he was the tippiest-toppiest cadet in all of the academy and would shame the leadership abilities of even George Washington himself. His peers who have claimed otherwise or just haters, and hate him cuz they ain’t him.

If the "community organizer" was also a US Senator and a State Senator, I would say that experience is more relevant than being a reality tv host!

Too bad those "bone spurs" held him back from greater command opportunities. Talk about BS flags..........

FWIW, I am totally disenfranchised with legislative bodies at both the state and federal level. Some day I'll have to post about the eye-opening experience I had when I passed a live PA microphone around to three then-current NY State Assemblypersons/Senators at Nassau Coliseum.....
