If RB can prove intent on HAM's part to cause collision to a certain extent (and according to some sources they have proof) then a concession can be allowed where a replacement PU can be used without a g/p if the one in Japan one is unservicable. That is of course separate from what can be administered on Merc/hammy if evidence pertaining to collision is convincing and data usually is.

If nothing else if it was, it would mean that Red Bull would bunch up their panties and run crying to the FiA every time something didn't go their way.

Who was it in recent times had a engine fail before making it to the starting grid? All checks told them it was fine, they decided to run it. Sooo...there is still probably a chance as they can't really test it.

I would guess that RB would run the engine in Friday FP 1 and/or 2 and see how its goes.
If its fine then it can into rotation as a back up maybe later in the season.

Yeah , it was about time. Meanwhile I heard about he HONDA PU , the "RA621H" is been tested and pushed over the limits .
Finally It ran oustanding on the test bench , and hopefully they threw 50 + more ponies in it !

The Japanese said : This PU will throw dust on HAM's visor !

The WAR . Let it come..Can't wait !

It is, once again, clear that the inner workings of he FIA, the WMSC, and F1 in general are eluding you. It hasn't been, at all, uncommon for penalties to be increased when complaint, protest or request for review is lodged. The most famous of these are from DSQ to Ferrari in the MSC/Irvine days. Ferrari were suspended for 1 race, decided to protest the findings, and were then handed a 3 race ban for their impertinence.

This isn't a court of law...it's the FIA and the two couldn't be farther apart in theory and practice.

It's plainly obvious that the punishment hasn't fitted the 'crime' in this case, any reasonable person would think that and lawyers have been engaged to push ahead with this anomaly which I think is beyond the capabilities of FIA as it stands.
