That's looks great Rachel. Have you considered going with a blacked-out grill? Would look meaaann! And I love how the angel eyes look on the e90.

What kinda bulbs do the fog use? I'm thinking a set of cheap aftermarket HID's to go in there.

Thanks. You know... it seemed like just the other day, I was answering your original post on what size the fog light bulbs were.... good times.

Can you describe for us the installation process? Was it easy, hard, both? Did you end up having to remove the wheel to get access to the bulb? I'm glad the H11 worked well for you. Was it simply pull out old one, plug in new one on the bulbs? Thanks.

OK here goes

1. First, drive the car up the ramp.. to work under it

2. Remove the black mini spoiler in front of the tire. 8mm does it. and the push pins.

3. you will now have a flap. It bend easy and pull it down, you may have to remove some more screws around this area if you have big hands, I have tiny hands so it was easy..

easy piece of cake....lefty lucy - righty tidy...is what my old man says.

3. Remove enought of the surrounding

I believe the 325i doesn't have a chrome grill, only the 330i.

You are correct, 325i has a black grill and window trim while the 330i has a chrome grill and window trim.

Nice! I currently have PIAA ION yellow H3c bulbs in my current car, they are great combined with my e46 HID projectors! I was planning on doing the same with my new car...a real BMW! What type/model number is the e90 fog light bulbs?

If you were responding to me, thanks for the info, but I was referring to one of RachelS's other threads where she showed us the results of her home made chrome job on the grille.

How well do the replacement bulbs perform the intended purpose of fog lamps? That is my criteria since my fog lamps are only used while driving in fog.

Women! They are so funny. Lefty-loosy, rightie-tightie is what I remember. I don't think she understood the whole concept of the phrase.

Any worries about putting 80watters into a 55watt socket? I'm assuming that they actually only draw 55 but put out "80" but doesn't that create a lot more heat?

After the fog we've had, I'd planned on swapping out the white (I've done this on just about every car I've owned) because the white creates a lot of glare for me.

Any reason why you went with the Nokya's instead of Hoen or SPP ion bulbs?

oops just noticed the original post is stale ... nevermind.
