Along with fake dct/gears, fake crunch of gear changes, fake bouncing off rev limiter

And nearly 700hp and weighs less than the new 5 series

Good. It will be exactly like my 2014 M5, 2017 X5M and then 2020 M5. All fake as hell.

No thanks. No desire for a Hyundai, or an EV. Certainly not both.

Miss the original V8 rumble eh, well not possible with the top block exhaust manifold exit of the M5 next to the turbos for no lag

I think they did it because of the overall acoustic isolation inherent in the 5 series platform. Plus your point is part of it as well. It made me feel like opting for the upgraded Bowers and Wilkins audio system was also an exhaust upgrade.

interestingly my 550 has a better V8 rumble than the M5 ... it's just ... i can't hear it due to sound insulation

i have plans to connect a mic taped to rear bumper and use a bluetooth app to the Bowers and Wilkins ...

550 mile range on my '23 X5 40i on the highway. Until EV's can match that range and charge in 5 minutes it's a no go for me.

Not sure how I feel about a "track" EV.

For a daily driver 100% EV convert, but for fun driving... I still need an ICE with a manual.

Let me guess you just NEED more than 3 laps.

Get good.

KIA's and Hyundai's are often styled very nicely and perform well on paper, but are almost always very under engineered and lacking in depth. I would not even buy a cheap car from them, let alone a very pricey EV with a lot of new and unproven technology.

My Stinger is a clone of a BMW 4-series. I owned both. There is nothing BMW is doing that they can't match. Well, anyone can beat BMW steering...but apart from that.

That's borderline ridiculous. My 2SS 1LE had a sound-tube from the intake plugged into the cabin, no electronics. Later years did away with this completely.

Virtually all new cars are coming with fake-sound. This isn't some special 5-series thing. This has been happening for years.

Don't keep it past the warranty. Battery replacement is a bit expensive.
