My Beloved Grandmother Celebrated her 109th Birthday!
Thought I'd share this "feel good story" with you all. I believe it is a testimony and hopefully it uplifts you...
My beloved Grandmother celebrated her 109th Birthday this weekend and I am so blessed to have her in our lives still. She is truly an angel and helped raise me. Life has come full circle. And I'm grateful to God for allowing me to do the same for her. |

That's great! Thanks for sharing that...it's really amazing when you consider the things she's probably seen over her years in this world.

I am Humbled by and Appreciate you all and your kind words for my beloved Grandmother and compliments of my Family. To read this put a smile on my face and is indeed heartfelt. I choose to be a positive spirit, as that is how I was raised, in part by this very woman. She has taught me so much and instilled in me: faith, humbleness, kindness, generosity, love and so much more. To be able to care for her is a blessing and something my entire family and I cherish. ALWAYS value your elderly loved ones and reach out to them as often as possible. And YES! I researched a few things that she has lived through: 2 World Wars Average price of a home: $3,000, Milk: $.04 Gallon. Before Women much less Minorities the right to Vote. Before Television. And so much more... I will be writing a Book of her Story. |

I have much on my plate...
Besides owning and operating a successful business, and raising a family that includes 2 Teenagers (parents you know the struggles). I am preparing one for College and his dreams of Fashion, Design and Modeling. The other, an aspiring NFL prospect. I also am a Community leader and involved with issues that impact social and economic development. Stopping short of politics. I've been asked to run for City Council. But that's just not for me. I'm also currently working on opening a Venue later this year. But I do it all for my beloved Grandmother and Family.  |
