That's awesome! I've built home made sim rigs since the early 2000's but nothing that rad. I already blow serious hours on my static setup, I can't imagine how much time I'd lose on a dynamic sim.

Can you share how many M3's I can buy with that kind of set up?

Based on your garage list it seems like the kids are not getting all the toys (so good job Dad) - but in that I have one in college and one soon to be there I'm going to give you a +1 on that response because I can relate

Thoughts on something like this... is it better to have the monitor stationary or move with the base?
I feel like stationary would be more realistic because IRL as a driver experiences g's they are moving around far more than the car or windscreen will. For example, during braking the driver is going to tip forward, but the horizon isn't going to change, so a stationary monitor will stay true to this. But, if the monitor moves with you I feel it would give a greater sense of movement and maybe feel more immersive.

Works well with VR. Some have gotten motion sickness others not at all. I'd don't really use static monitor mostly vr so not much input to offer here. The kids love the rollercoaster sim. |

Which VR? I have the Quest 2 but I find myself playing on monitor more because I dont like the lack of peripheral vision.
