Tips to remove tape residue from headliner?

The PO of my 135i must've broken the interior dome light clips and decided to use duct tape to hold it in place. I've replaced the unit, however, the duct tape residue remains!

Want to get it off obviously but don't want to detach the headliner fabric from the board..Any suggestions chaps?

I concur - Goof Off would be where I start. If that does not work, try 3M adhesive remover.
