Because it will not race (regardless of what it looks like on race 1) if it is not legal, simple as that.

To me it is just making excuses for if mercedes annihilates the field again. I wonder what your excuse will be if the order is: ferrari, mercedes, redbull, and max wins 0 races this season.

ooh, ooh, I know. Everyone else but RB is cheating, Max and Karen are gods. Masi was the best ever RD, bar none....yada,yada...how'd I do?

How are they going to cool the PU with the pencil thin body, probably replace the PU's every two races..

How are they going to cool it? Like they didn't think of that already? They won the constructors championship for 8 straight years due to bleeding edge engineering and will continue to apply the same methodology. Why is it when people get out engineered they think someone is cheating? F87 clearly posted a video from an ex-f1 engineer describing how the cooling works.

More innovation but lets see how much of this hold true and if it works. How is it cooled you ask, by an new innovative cooling system they developed. Now lets see how much of this leak is true.

Its up to the other teams to out engineer each other within the rules and budget. Its the losers fault, not the winners fault. If true the engineering behind this will be amazing, and imagine what it will do for road car cooling for both ICE and full electric as cooling and the bulk of cooling systems have always been a packaging challenge.

All rumors of course until we see if on track...

I never mentioned 'cheating', you did. I'm just adding up possibilities of what is possible and what is unlikely within the cramped chassis for downforce, hardware and cooling. So far it doesn't add up to me to what's been shown.

Wasn't talking about you, so apologizes if it seemed as if I was. Just seems that is the vibe here when one team namely Mercedes out engineers another team.

From what I have read they have developed a chemical cooling system (CCS) that greatly reduces the need for radiator size, which answers the question as to how they can do this while still properly cooling the engine, tranny, hybrid systems and electronics. If they have actually pulled this off its pretty amazing technology.

If and I say if Merc have created an entirely new concept they will have gone to the FIA as part of its development in the same way they did DAS and everything else. Then when or if it's protested and if it is they can then lean on the fact or be comfortable it won't be declared illegal.

All teams do this with new concepts that push the rules which is why everyone is so sensitive about FIA employees moving into a team with so much insider knowledge. Its happened once and is why the teams required more safeguards on it not happening again without large periods of garden leave etc.

No way that HAM could make it with 185 + mph (300 km/h) on the inside of the Copse turn ..
MAX had the perfect racing line , to cut from the outside to the inside . That's actually the only way to make it with this speed in Copse ...

HAM was only there on the inside to ram MAX off-track . That was HAM's intention on the inside .
On the other hand : HAM actually didn't made it in Copse , because he found himself completely off-track (+/- 20 meters) after his murder attemp .

HAM knew very well if MAX would keep his lead coming out of Copse , then MAX would drive him out of sight ...

Good point and the article stated that they went to the FIA many months ago for clarification and were given the green light. Tomorrow should be interesting.
