Posting pictures

Am I the only person who finds posting photos to the forum a complete pain in the as* - Seriously, every other place I post simply takes the photo, no matter what the size and automatically reformat's during upload. It discourages me from posting more pictures which I would love to do but do not have the time to constantly be resizing (And often been told my photos are still to big)! Can the admins do anything about this?

Rant over!

Don't bother with the forum... save all your photos to Photobucket, Imgur, or whatever site.... then drop the IMG links here. The photos will all show up no matter how large because they are not being saved to the site.

This. It works so much better. No hassle.

I agree, it's retarded. I don't bother posting pics, my lost I guess. I'm real big on privacy and don't have any social anything account, nothing, and don't plan on opening an account on photobucket or whatever just to post pics for this one forum. Don't have this problem anywhere else.

But if you aren't like me then starting an account as advised above is the easiest solution.

Have to agree. Posting pics to this forum is cumbersome. I have no desire to make a separate photo account just to post pics on this site. I too would love to post some pics of my M4 but sadly cannot because of unfortunate sizing issues.

Totally agree. And let's just say it, if you're posting pictures from your phone or iPad ... Fuuuugeeddaboutit!

Would be nice to solve this - Seems like the technology on this forum is a little behind the times... I get it... "First world problems"

I get the posting a link BTW: just seems like an unnecessary step IMO
