This picture was a pain in the ass to capture! I went through at least 40 test shots trying to get the framing right, as well as the focus. I really, REALLY need a remote shutter release!

I used a 20 second timer delay to allow myself to get into position, and I used "flip flops" to mark my position. This really helped me to get the framing set up. Once I heard the shutter actuate, I pressed the trigger.

Anyway, I present......

My biggest passion is shooting. Funny that photography is also in the list, since it involves "shooting" as well!

well unfortunately unless she says she didn't (which I hope she would admit to if it was true), there really is no way to prove that she didn't... with a 10 sec timer it wouldn't be impossible.

+1, i don't think she took that photo either. If you browse through all her other pictures they have been taken with a p&s camera and this one was taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi. i don't think i remember her posting about getting a new camera. (unless she borrowed someones camera and took it?)

oh and umm if you zoom in on the window you can see a person's reflection. just saying.....

i dont think she took that picture herself. i was at mfest and i didnt see her with a dslr of any kind. its doubtful she borrowed someones, set up a tripod, learned to set the timer and took a portrait just for the fun of it
