Would you put PPF on at 5k miles?

I neglected to have installed when car was new, Now I'm noticing a small chip on hood, microchips(no pun intended) all over front bumper,I don't want it to get any worse so I will have full front PPF over the wear and tear, any thoughts? Is it too late?

Yes, never too late. Have the painted corrected and the chips repaired prior to doing the PPF.

I have full PPF except roof and love the protection as well as the ease of maintenance.

If you need a South Florida referral PM me or text me.

It's not too late, especially in Florida. I have full body PPF and wouldn't do without it. We just had our biannual love bug deluge and I wasn't worried about the paint. Worth it.

Find a ppf Suntek dealer/installer and have installer touchup paint chips right before installing the ppf film...I did the full front, bumper, hood, headlights, mirrors and side front panels...also blacked out markers

Yeah and here on Orlando the damn LoveBugs are still going at it. Although, they do seem to be thinning out a it. But, low and behold, when they do finally die off sometime very soon, they’ll be back in September for another deluge!

Well, you need to have the chipped areas resprayed then put on the ppf. Its never too late. Due to experience with chips, I had critical panels ppf on the 2nd day I collected my car. I had my headlights ppf too.

never too late.. like everyone else mentioned get someone really good that does paint touch up then do PPF.. full front, rockers, and lower sides of rear bumper are key in my opinion..
