I know what that feels like. One of my buddy's friend won a WPT event 2nd place, and bought a M5 out of door with cash right away....

when i was younger i use to go to commerce a lot with friends and play poker....

i noticed a couple times i would get seated next to the same guy..EVERYTIME i was there..

So after maybe 5 times being in the same table i asked the guy..are you always here?

He told me its his profession and hes there 7 days a week, doesnt leave until he makes atleast 800 dollars a DAY. I was like woah!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you do math 800 x30 is over 20k a month. He was a young 21 year old.

Amazing.

I'm not a pro or even close. I know a guy who owned a Pho restaurant that went pro. Saw him one day in WSOP winning over $250k in a tourney.

many people do this as a job....they start with a bankroll...set a schedule...set some daily limits (up and down) and make a reasonable living...the tourneys are the gravy...

Met a guy in Dallas that is a pro. Name is Kido Pham. He owns a bunch of dental offices all across the metroplex.

Saw kido a few times on TV, he is one fearless poker players. Glad he is investing all that winning though.

He had all that money before he turned pro. I think he has like 8-10 dental offices already.
