Funny thing about docks, they are never straight. Even when made of cement, they tend to go in different directions. Big waves, ice, hurricanes, anything really. Even as simple as no maintenance. People seem to forget to look after them.

I received my 70-200L II today. WOW! I'm impressed. Here's a quick image taken with it. Image was resized using bicubic sharper for reduction, other than that, no sharpening was added during PP.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were asking which aperture the the photo was taken! The lens is the f/2.8 mkII IS variant. Not so much light, but manageable.

Ahhh, a fine choice... I find the vignetting at wide open very interesting on it, test it out, you might get some interesting effects, if you haven't already.
