Same here, you never want to see mechanical failures. I’m a Ferrari fan and root for them to win but I was hoping for a three team fight at the top this year. They haven’t won either titles since I started watching F1 in 2009 and have teased us in several years with WDC hopes in 2010, 2012 and a few half seasons with Vettel. I guess this is just another disappointing year to add to that list.

I think there’s very little chance they will come back at RB this year with either titles, I just hope they can fix their woes and hit the ground running next year, they have a competitive car but need to be reliable and not make dumb strategic moves in the race. I even hope Merc rejoins the fight at some point and make it more exciting

It won't be easy for Ferrari to fix that with the new budget cap .

its unbelievably solid that Ferrari either messes up with strategy or mechanical way to ruin Leclerc's high potentially victory races... last year FIA gifted this year seems like Ferrari will gift Max a championship.. almost all Ferrari cars knocked out almost the same way.. at least they ll know how to fix it hopefully...

Mercs were middle nowhere again.. after both Ferraris are gone they stayed on track and got 3-4th but not sure this will boost them.. it was even hard to pull alongside Gasly with old tires.. maybe the second half they can be fast but.. it ll be too little too late probably...

as a 37 year old who's had back issues from sports, I think Hamilton deserves the benefit of the doubt here. They can be incredibly painful and debilitating.

Most other teams have some porpoising but they seem to deal with it in their own way quite well.
I don't hear Alonso complaining and he's a lot older than Hammy and has been in F1 for a lot longer.

This is mainly a MERC issue and they have to deal with it internally. Either by raising the ride height and making the suspension a bit softer, loosing time or design a different car or whatever...

Feel for LEC. From the day he started at Ferrari and took over for VET until today, he's grown to a very competent driver and is doing everything right (all the pole positions this year) but the team/engineers have really let him down. What looked like a promising season is now getting out of reach.

Yes it is uncomfortable as George has also said. But that whole dramatization getting out of the car by Lewis is over the top. George popped right out of the same car and celebrated his podium.

I honestly believe Lewis might use porpoising to quit season early. I bet you money Lewis wouldn’t be doing the same theatrics if he was winning races with a bouncing car like Ferrari.

A quick stop before I'm on the move again,I heard the news on Chas's blown PU on the motorway and Sainz's brake failure meaning a 1-2 for RB,good show!
Merc can't complain much with their tossing cars tho RUS nabbed third while HAM's back is a bit fragile.
