I need some better lighting and a proper mini-studio setup at home...

[Very oooold pic; just processed]
81 years ago, somebody heard the Montreal Canadiens win the Stanley Cup; at this very place.

^^^^Very nicely done.
I remember them winning behind a big doofus named Ken Dryden.

Thanks! I always loved that shot but being a point and shoot pic, it was lacking a bit of sharpness and didnt have the vintage look I was feeling about when I took it.
But now that I can do a thing or two with Lightroom, I managed to more accurately reproduce the feeling I had when I was standing there.

Mark good to see a fan. They are my default team now that the Nordiques are gone. But a lot of people around here work very hard to get a team back. Starting with the city who's building a new arena.

Not exactly a fan of Les Habitants. But as a Boston Bruins fan I've seen the Habs hoist the cup a few too many times.

Quote:
Habs/Bruins are the best playoff series ever. I never miss one. Well with a second thought, I have to admit that Flyers/Penguins this year steals the cake! But Boston/Montreal rivalry is there for over a century. That's a lot of blood spilled! I have to find an iphone picture I took from a Boston fan that was sitting in front of me two years ago. He had a Boston jersey and I managed to stick a Habs sticker on his back without him knowing. Epic.

We get this every year. Big rush of raccoons just as summer starts and then they fade away when it gets really hot. We have a bunch of outdoor cats and the only way to let them eat is to distract the raccoons with other stuff. Luckily they love the peanut pickouts, which are relatively cheap. So while the raccoons are feasting on peanuts, we feed the kitties. It all works out.

Nice! Up here, when you see a raccoon around, it has bad news written all over it.
They LOVE garbage bags
