Nice shots since I have been gone guys. I took a few shots on my vacation and will have a few uploaded by weeks end. Unfortunately I made a huge faux pas and forgot my battery charger in my other suitcase during my Dominican Republic week....but I still think I got a few good shots nonetheless. I still plan on doing my little competition thread with a authentic German beer stein/cup as a prize...more on that later!

Heck, it took me 2 years before the the Angel fish would finally come out for a picture.

nice shot rodi! I wish the top part of the photo wasn't blow out, and still had that greenish bg to it. Her right arm is also a tad too dark for my taste.

funny you mention that. i noticed, after shooting some of these, my shutter speed was too high to sync to the strobe, hence the darker bottom portion. not sure how that slipped by me - i think i was too busy wiping the sweat from my face and eyes just to see the viewfinder.
we set this up as a little test shoot. the heat and humidity were bloody unbearable. we were both drenched in sweat the minute we got down there. and i don't feel like photoshopping the after effects of sweat mixing with makeup. :\
