Laferrari prices are probably on their way up lol. turbo v6 what a joke. At least mclaren has a v8. both would get smoked by the Rimac.

Sad to be honest. They must have the technology to be able to still over v8, v12 engines to today's standards. Wonder what it will sound like..
Atleast Lambo is still having v12's, but hybrid though..

The only new Ferrari that I really love is the Daytona SP3 which looks amazing and has NA V12.
The F80 is a no go with a V6 👎 |

Can't make mind up but how long is a 3l V6 going to last with 900hp even with hybrid.

Others are still producing V8's and V12's, can't see a reason they can't.
Each time they push numbers and less about the engine characteristics they move closer to what an EV excels at doing. All of them sound like a sewing machine but the acceleration is often just traction limited.

I would roast the V6 but the 296 is WILD.
Not a fan of the unibrow but I get some F40 vibes from it, I kind of like it. The top view of the car is beautiful. |

Glad its got five proper wheel lugs instead of the silly central race type lug you see on some Porsches, kudos to Ferrari for that. Last edited by M5Rick; 10-18-2024 at 06:00 AM.. |

I have seen several SP3s in person at various Ferrari events but not out on street. It is unbelievable design.

It's growing on me too, those strakes in the tail are striking and great for cooling the V12, not sure about the two bulges on top of the rear bodywork though.
