I'm lazy, had a MT in two cars and a slushboxer since. What I was getting at is that I ran your sig pic through tineye and came up with hits.

Oh, that's my signature, but not my pic. You ask permission to use it here at M3Post and the group administrator gives it to you. I'd expect it's all over the place on tineye, because it's very widely used.

Does anyone know a better source than www.tineye.com for finding unauthorized users of pix? I've got several pix that get 20-hits per day, yet Flickr shows the referal as "Unknown" and tineye can't find a link. Apparently when a pic or a link is imbedded in a pdf neither Flickr or tineye can see it. Is there something that can?

Have you tried the new Google image search? You can drag any image into the search box and it will look around the web for it.

the 335 6MT's is equivelant to having 4.10's !?!?

Yes I did. It did find a few more links, but it didn't help me with my biggest offenders. One good thing about those using my images, at least the ones I know of, they're linking to my Flickr site, rather than downloading and simply posting my pix with no credit. Even so, I'd like to know where the traffic comes from.

I don't know the 335's final drive ratio. It's got more torque than my M3, so it's probably got a lower numerical ratio.

It's the combination of the FD ratio and the transmission gear ratios that's important. On my M3, the stock FD is 3.76 to 1 and the 6 gears are selected as a good compromise for fleet mileage and performance. The 6MT has 6-gears and the DCT has 7-gears, that actually have lower ratios, so the DCT's FD ratio is somewhere around 3.45 to 1. Throwing a 4.10 into a DCT would be a huge mistake. You can't select one ratio without knowing the corresponding other ratios.

If I only had a penny for every hit.

If it really bothers you, swap out the pic to the lemon party.

For what I like to shoot, invaluable but it is a heavy lens and I carry it/use it all the time.
