No. It is just letting you know the engine is still cool/cold.
Drive moderately and let the car warm up until the cold light goes out, and your engine will thank you. The absolute best way to warm up your car is with moderate speed driving, not letting it sit and idle. |

^ This is the way. Keep the RPMs under 3K, then slowly increase as the temp gauge goes up.

To add to this, you should also make sure you’re taking long enough trips that the engine has enough time to warm up fully, especially during the first 1000 miles or so. (Not sure if your car is new mileage wise or not)
