well before you get too happy, why dont you "chip" it first. Then go looking for fun, because a tuned 335 is where its at.

I think it was on a public road, in a school zone with little kids playing hopscotch and getting ice cream from the ice cream trucks. There were nuns crossing the road too.

dont forget the school bus with the STOP sign displayed, and one of those cross walk ladies that hold the STOP sign up as kids walk through the street haha.

Like anything, it always comes down to the driver. Anyway, C&D gives the LS2 GTO a 5.0 sec or less 0-60. That's in line with the stock 335i so neither car should be blowing the other away without mods.

Ah, yes, now this is the typical e90post response .... too bad I was thinking of the condition of the road (potholes, dips, uneven pavement) ...

I mis-worded my reply, what I was saying is that when the GTOs were made that was the current vette engine AT THE TIME. It's not like it got the hand me down old motor. It didn't in the 04 model GTO either, that was the current vette motor at the time. It's not that old of a car and like it's some old tech engine.

I knew what you meant, the point i was making is that the GTO's are pretty easy and cheap to mod.

I have to agree with jfulcher. My last car was an 06 goat, stock it dynoed at 346whp and 339wtq. And with the lsd it hooked up really good. And the top end is where the gto pulls really hard. So I doubt with just a piggyback you will smoke one.

In this race with both cars having one pasanger the GTO would have pulled the 335, as it should with more stock BHP. Mod them both and anything can happen!

That is pretty damn funny! With a front to rear distribution of 54/46 and an almost perfect cross weight of 49.96/50.04 the goat handles its weight very well. When my car was stock I was outpacing modded E36 M3s on the road course. After I did some weight reduction, suspension mods, and DOT track rubber, it was all over for my E36 and E46 buddies . . . Oh, and the goat owner can use the GM supplied roadside assistance if he needs it. We got that as well . . .
