Secondly, the bold...that is pretty interesting. In thinking about it, I suppose nice cars do mostly attract people of the same sex. I'm sure there is a psychological discussion to be had here, but, eh, lazy. |

For a 911, men would either deliberately ignore me or give the w anchor sign. When I drove a V12V you'd get loads of attention from GI(N)LFs ... |

Get the GTR if you'll be able to find places around town to let it loose. Going 45 in a GTR isn't really any more fun than going 45 in a maxima or m3 or anything else. lol
They're great cars, reliable for what is, and make great power pretty easily. At the 1/2 mile air strip drag racing events, the winners are typically UGR G's and GTR's. Jus sayin. |

I owned a 09 GT-R (stock and later mod'd) for 4 years before selling it to purchase my M3. In the 4 years of ownership I had zero (mechanical) problems with it. With proper maintenance and driven like an adult the GT-R will treat you well. Track the GT-R and the bills will begin to add up. Due to the wight of the GT-R you will go through tires, rotors and pad often. More often than a car with less girth. But that much is obvious, right? The GT-R is a caged animal that wants to be driven with spirit, which makes it at least in my opinion not so great of a DD. With that said, I miss my GT-R!

Good friend of mine just sold his, and it had 1,200hp. Let's just say there is no point in me ever investing in a fast car anymore after having been in this thing a few times. Everything else is slow for me at this point.

The front end of the GTR looks good when modified.

I had a 2012 GTR for 2 years and 5000 miles.
I loved the car, never did a thing to it, didnt need to. Now that i drive a fully modded f82 i truly understand what i had in the GTR. The problem with owning a car like a GTR is that there is really no where to go performance wise after you experience GODZILLA. No other car currently on the planet will give you a better cost to performance ratio. |

Not really worth it unless you're planning on picking up a used one for 55-60k.
For 80-100k there are so many other cars id rather have. Currently wishing I would have spent more and got a used R8 or Gallardo. Not to mention maybe a F-Type R or Granturismo, The maintenance costs will be relatively the same, maybe even less if you have a independent shop do the work vs a GTR technician at nissan which is required (I Believe) in most cases if you want to keep your warrenty on a new one. My insurance quote was also less for V10 R8 than my GT-R. I guess I just stopped really caring about speed. Id rather be sitting at a stoplight with my fine ass girlfriend in a exotic then going 150 by myself Nissan lol |

get a 13' or newer GTR and if you have extra money to spend get the new nismo edition. it's easily the most fun car i've ever driven. i've taken about every single new M series (except the x5m) around the track and don't get me wrong they were a blast but the tuned GTR was just mind blowing. it was so damn fast yet still very predictable and controllable. if i had the funds i wouldn't even think twice about going out and buying one and going fbo right now.

you're only 23 and you want to add a gtr to you're "collection"?! what the hell do you do and are they hiring. if your parents are funding this ask them if they're looking to adopt, I could use a gtr lol
