Dashcam for road and autocross use?
I'm looking to pick up a dash cam to use for liability while driving but it would be a bonus if it were also capable of recording future autocross laps.
Can anyone suggest a good model for this in the sub-$200 range? I've done a little research but would value any firsthand input. Also - if I understand the SCCA rules correctly, the cam will need to be mounted by something more secure than a suction cup... right? |

Not sure on suction cup, I'll be doing autocross and HPDE and its fine. I started researching same thing last week and hands down the Nextbase 522 wins, everywhere I look !!
Best Buy just dropped $50 to $209. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/nextbas...?skuId=6346998 |

If you want high quality video why not get a gopro or two? There are thousands of mounting options for your mood at the time. |
