Supercharger kit group buy E39 I6 and V8
Sup guys, please spread this around if you know someone who's interested in this SC kit by VF Eng. Price range $3000 for V8, maybe less for I6,which still in negotiation so to speak,Thanks.

You've peaked my interest. I haven't signed up for the group buy (although I'm giving it some serious thought) 'cause I'm going to be out of the country for the next 7 months. When I get back, we'll see what's up. Adding an extra 100hp and 60 ft/lbs of torque is very tempting, especially at the price tag of $3K. I really am curious if 528s with SC remain good daily drivers. My 528i is the best all-around driving car I've ever had, and the only thing I'd want is more power, once in a while.

Not for me. 540i V8 has its own problems. The in-line 6s are bulletproof, and much easier at the fuel pump.
