Finally got myself a GT3

Just bought my E92 in July and had no plans to get another car, but saw this baby for sale on Rennlist at a really good price and had to jump on it. Saw in listed on Monday, had a deal by Wedensday, flew into Oakland Friday night to pick it up and drive back Saturday morning. I normally hate long drives but the 9 hours back to Vegas went by quick, surprisingly comfortable for a long trip. Been wanting a GT3 as long as I can remember, lucky to be able to live the dream! Anyone want to buy a Gintani Stage 2 E92?

Car has a Sharkwerks center bypass exhaust on it already but I'm really tempted to get this JCR titanium race pipe:

Congrats! Can't go wrong with the 991.1...great time to buy one.

Kudos for driving it home and not shipping it. I drove mine 6+ hours home and was smiling every second of it.

You also chose the best color combo possible, but I'm a bit biased.

Well done! I'm partial to Sapphire Blue Metallic but the GT3 family is gorgeous and sounds phenomenal.

I actually really like the sofas and wasn't crazy about the bucket seats when I tried them at the LA Experience Center....fine for a drive at the track but don't know that I'd want to deal with them on a daily basis, plus passengers usually aren't too keen on them, especially the ladies...

To me buckets are part of the GT experience. If she wants boring seats, she can go find a boring car and boring guy .

That's cheap for a 991, pretty high miles though. My 07 Gt3 has half the miles, I need to drive it more. Did you end up snagging it for 105?

As far as sofas vs. buckets. If you're just going to street drive I'd go buckets if you're going to track get sofas and replace with real fixed back race seats (Recaro SPG etc).

I got it for less than the asking price too

Probably going to give the JCR titanium exhaust a shot, worst case I could sell it and get almost all of my money back as they seem to be in very high demand right now since there's no used ones out there yet

Buckets are cool but not $10k second-hand cool and not pay an extra $25k for a car with them cool either. I can deal with the sofas. Got the car for more than 100 but less than 105.

40k miles on the body but only 1k miles on the new engine. The 10-year/120k mile engine warranty was a huge selling point for me. Car has only been tracked once (supposedly) in a novice group. Amazingly the car is still on its original rear brake pads with 8/32 of the pad left (after 40k miles!!!) and the front brakes were just replaced at ~33k miles a year ago, so that tells you how babied it was. Seller said the previous owner was super anal about the car's condition and would wear gloves to open the doors, wipe down every spec of dust, etc. The car looks brand new inside and out. Really happy with it so far.
