Question am i driving too much?

When i look at bmw dealerships pre-owned inventories, i don't see any 3 series vehicles that have 100,000km or more. I see 2000,01,02,03 all the way to 06 models with very few mileage(km). Do bmw owners do anything with their cars? lol

It seems like MOST of these previous 3 series owners who traded in these cars drive less then 20,000km per year. They drive more like about less then 10,000km per year it seems like.

I know on a lease we're allowed 20,000km per year. So say if we own the car, do we lose almost the same amount of value of the same model year car comparing a 20,000km car to a car that is less then 10,000km?

Is driving over 20,000km alot in year by the way?

Is that 13,000 miles? Probably above average, but a lot of people drive that much. Then you have people opposite of you, like me.

The cars you see on BMW pre-owned lots generally have fewer miles than you would see if you went to your local used car lot (or a private seller). They select particularly low milage cars in order to maximize the selling price. In the US, average mileage is around 12-15K miles per year (about 19-24km/year), so I don't think your milage is unusually high.

On my last car (leased), I was allowed 45k miles over 3 years, but only put 22k miles over the course of the lease. I bought this car and I have taken so many road trips and weekend drives that I will probably put 13-14k miles during my first year of ownership.

I put 25k miles on the M3 this past year, and about 5k miles on the other car (including a 3k-mile trip to Florida). So no 13k a year is not high.
