The mounting method for the aftermarket pedals is actually where you gain the most benefit. By eliminating all of the rubber of the OEM pedals you gain more feel. The BMW accessory pedals attach the same way as the OE, stretch fit rubber- no drilling:

I got These on Ebay
I got this set on ebay $77.99 including shipping. The footrest is not excatly a perfect fit but I like them. I used a good drill bit and the drilling was not hard at all.
