Lightbulb Luka Doncic is literally changing the NBA Game!

I'm a huge NFL fan but in some respects I enjoy the NBA even more. Obviously the MAVS are my home team and I attend home games regularly and watch plenty of other teams outside of my market. Luka unsurprisingly caught my and many others attention by winning Rookie of the Year last season. This season he is currently averaging a Tripple Double! No easy task. Especially from a Sophomore 20yr old player.
What is extraordinary about him is his ability to forsee what is about to happen during game play. Particularly his uncanny ability to grab defensive rebounds. If you haven't watched Dallas Mavericks game and you enjoy the NBA, watch this young man play asafp.

Dallas Mavericks

As of Monday November 18th, Dallas' Luka Doncic was fourth in the NBA in FiveThirtyEight's offensive RAPTOR plus/minus, trailing only James Harden, LeBron James and Damian Lillard.

That's stellar company.

Didn't he just become the 2nd youngest person to have a 40+ point triple double game. Lebron was the youngest.

The kid looks good, but that's because he doesn't have much around him. Hope he can be consistent with this production, and also stay injury free. All it takes is one bad jump and fall for it to all hit the fan. (i.e Derrik Rose)

He actually surpassed James in most TDs by this age.

One additional Star and this team is dangerous....

he does have porzingis playing with him...

this team should still be able to compete if both of them play to their potential. Look at the nuggets last year, really only 1 star on the team and were the #2 seed

Having been a Mavs fan since they came into the league, I must say Im Loving the new look Mavericks!
Luka is on a whole new level, and the future is bright if your a Mavericks fan. It’s quite obvious that he is probably the next Dirk Nowitzki!
But again, that’s just my opinion.

Can’t get into the NBA anymore. However, I wish Luka all the best.

Enjoyed watching the game tonight on ESPN. Luka was hitting everything in that first period. The kid is definitely playing at a different level.
Have tickets to the Hawks vs MAVS game (one of my sons Christmas gifts ) in Atlanta on the 22nd of February. Can’t wait. My son is going to be so happy.

I agree they should be able to compete if they play well. Their next 3 games will tell you everything you need to know about them though. They go up against a high scoring Houston (Will tell us if the Mavs can defend), then they go up against the Clippers with Kawhi back (Will tell us if they can score against a good Defense).

IMO, Kristaps is still finding his groove. When he does, this team will be dangerous AF!

No triple double, but he looked real good in the win against Houston.

He’s already probably top 10-15 players in the NBA no doubt. Though can’t believe they lost to the lousy Knicks twice. I want to Knicks to get that top pick and screw it up like they always do.

Luka comes from the wing and rebounding is a massive gap amidst a few teams. I wish the Raps had Luka, a repeat would be cinched.

Let's step back and be real here. The guy is 1/4 into his sophomore year, let's not start comparing him to someone with TWO Finals MVPs.
