Even Merc's PU development time advantage will reduce when flogging the PU block for more power if there is little more to offer for it, it's been wrung enough over the years.
No DAS will definitely reduce gap to possible nil or worse for the black arrows and Wolff himself has said '21 times are unlikely to fall further.

Myself I'm hoping that McLaren Mercedes are right up at the front there along with Force India, Renault and the Ferrari engined cars.
OTOH I'd rather see AT and Williams do better than Red Bull...for me there is something a bit off with that team.....Even when then had likeable drivers.

It could be all over for the black arrows,I can see the lights on all night at Brixworth with Wolff putting on a brave face to no avail. There is only so much you can get out of a 1.6 with all the hybrid attachments to it to boost performance and every opportunity now for the others to match that tech after a time.
It's not like the 80's V6 twin turbos where the hybrid dead weights were not carried.

can be because of a bit marketing oriented team atmosphere and more importantly Horner and Marko's management.. i used to like Horner but recently anything he says this week he can say the opposite next week.. not a right way of leading in my opinion.. otherwise this fastest pitstops, or trying to make Max youngest champion is all for "gives you wings" thing..

I've never been a fan of Horner. Miserable management of Webber and Vettel. And I'm almost certain that Max cannot be the youngest WDC in history. VET is at 23 years, 134 days. Max is already 23 years 90+ days. Well...I could be mistaken...Max fans will probably say he won it if he ever takes a lead in the championship. Desperation and all...

Its Horner that puts me off Red Bull...he is a bit of a two faced hypocrite that is not above some serious rule breaking when he can, while complaining to the FIA about other teams and their innovations.
Also..Its great if you are RBs flavour of the month driver...but sucks to be the number 2 driver who can expect to get second rate equipment and treatment most of the time.
