Any out there enjoy a good Sashimi platter for New Years? It looks like its gonna be a good year out here in Hawaii. I love me some good raw Ahi on NYE!!! Aloha and Happy New Year All!

Live on the Beach and enjoy it through out the year.

Was in Maui Last year on my honeymoon and enjoyed some Amazing Poke'

Ok, sidebar to the sashimi.....about 8 years ago I had to visit Vandenberg AFB for a work project, I arrived at the Santa Barbara airport. I had already reserved a full size car for rental, this next part I swear is true. I get to the rental desk and the guy asks if I wanna upgrade, I said sure but what ya got ? He motioned to the outside, sitting there were two corvettes. A yellow one and green one, I said how much more for the yellow one? He says you can have it for another $50 per day.......I said DONE and DONE.

Never understood the Corvette thing, I jumped in and took off down HWY 101 North. The 'Vette was awesome ! So fast, loud and just so low to the ground. I now get the Corvette thing and heck, I'd buy one too (never sell my M3 though)

Anyway, I always scroll through the navigation systems when I rent cars just because I am curious where people have been. In the nav system of the Corvette, the last people that had rented the Corvette had entered as a destination Nobu Malibu. I thought of going, but it was at least 1.5+ hours away (south too) and had to check into my motel and do work for next day. But the next time I'm in LA I'm for sure going to Nobu Malibu, I love sushi and it has to be a righteous place to see lots of beautiful women

Kinda long story I know, but it does tie in with the whole sashimi subject
