It's PG13. Now a days you cant do R movies with a such a huge brand like this otherwise you'll miss out on the youngins who really want to see it but parents are still a bit hesitant. Doing that would target a specific market and miss out on $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Personally, they need to focus on the dark side more and introduce a strong female antagonist and push the limits of a PG13 rating.

I know someone in the twin cities who paid $50 to watch Episodes 1-7 at a theater all day. I love SW but man, that's a tall order for all in one day.

You all already know I am a "Movie Fanatic/Guru". BUT... This my friends, is more than a movie... It is a Phenomena! I saw the first Star Wars at Manns Chinese Theater in Hollywood as a kid! That was when I was 7 years old! I still remember standing in line, the crowds, the anticipation, the magic!

I didn't get advance tickets since it seems weird buying tickets 2 months in advance.

The trailer looks good but after Episodes 1 and 2 (3 was ok), I'm weary. If reviews are good, I'll see it a week or so after it's released.

Star Wars $100 million is the first triple-digit million-day ever!

This all comes after studio estimates showed that The Force Awakens exploded out of the box office at Thursday night previews, taking a record $57 million. Once again it beat out Deathly Hallows, Part 2 which made $43.5 million in Thursday night pre-shows in July 2011.

"We are obviously very encouraged by the record-breaking presales for Star Wars," Dave Hollis, executive vice president of distribution at Walt Disney, said in a calm statement released Friday.

With $100 million in the bank, the next question is whether The Force Awakens can be the biggest movie opening weekend of all time, passing Jurassic World last June at $208.8 million. That might not even be a question at this point.
