E39 540i code out airbags please help "newbie"

Hey fellas.
Im good with gm but this 540 has me puzzled
Specs: 2001 bmw 540i 56k miles black/black
Car was involved in a front accident owner never
Got paid was a loss to him liability.
Got it dirt cheap 4 years ago. (Still in garage)
Driven 5 times since repair.
Replaced driver fender and door
Cirtain airbag and door aribag deployed.
Ive since replace them however ive decided to
Go a different route.
I would like to code out all airbags.
Can i remove and send modules out for this or
Would i need a bmw specialist in coding?
Not much knowlege here in ny most only basic coding
Please any advice would be appreciated.

Hello this is really easy to do with BMW-scanner (PA Soft) and a laptop.
Just disconnect those airbags you dont want to have and uncheck them in the program under SRS/Coding data/Equipment.
The hardware can be bought anywhere, for example https://www.amazon.com/Aidixun-obd2-...3476247&sr=8-6

It can also be done, a little bit mor tricky, with NCS-Expert which is included in the Inpa Ediabas Suite.
