I recently got my install done by a friend, he fitted technic hifi harness xd600/6 dls 4 and sws8xi.
The mids and tops sound amazing but the bass is terrible. The speakers are popping at low levels and there's hardly any bass.
I've tried adjusting all the settings but with no luck.
I put the oem back in because the popping was so bad and they sound a lot better.

Please please can anyone advise me on what to do and how to resolve this problem.

And you started out with a Hi Fi system not a base system?

What is the source of the music cd wav files or high bit rate mp3 ?

I would ask somebody with that speaker what there settings are on the
amp.(go to the stereo sub forum to ask)

You didn't hook those up in parallel creating a 1 ohm load did you ?
