iBlacklist and SBSettings are the 2 apps that i Jailbreak for.
Winterboard for themes, Cyntact is extremely cool, 3G unrestrictor so you could use Skype and watch high-quality YouTube videos while on 3G. And if you are a nerd, then SSH and Netatalk (mostly for mac users) are very useful.

Jailbroke apps:
Bossprefs - fast toggle switches (wifi, bluetooth, dock, etc) CallMe - One touch dial icons on the springboard Five Icon dock - put 5 apps on bottom dock (instead of 4) MxTube - download Youtube and store locally PrivaCy - prevent apps from spying on you. SBSettings - actually this is more of a replacement for Bossprefs StatusNotifier - Email, SMS, Call, Voicemail notification in the status bar Winterboard - springboard themes RedLaser (beta) - bar code scanner that uses camera to automatically search the web (google?) for low prices.

Only thing I don't like about jailbroken is when your connector port to charge and sync your iPhone stops working and the "genius" bar won't help you.
That happened on my last iPhone. I will probably jailbreak sometime soon, just haven't felt the need yet (maybe if I want to use tethering anytime soon)

Its too bad that intelliscreen is a free trial and we have to pay for it. Otherwise, I would've used it every day! But its not worth the $10 or so bucks they charge.

The language was that of a person that has to stop typing to do some work and starts on a different train of thought when he comes back All fixed now.

Jailbreaking doesn't unlock the phone so that you can use it on another carrier. you have to use another program and process to do that. |

Sorry to go OT but I'm curious as to why you do this? I'm currently on the fence. Apparently reception has just recently been upgraded in my area and this was the only deterring factor from getting an Iphone. Now I can't see why I wouldn't buy one but this comment sparks my interest. I was also considering the BB Tour by Verizon FWIW. |
