Essen Motor Show - Tesla, Wiesmann GT, R8 Razor GTR, Audi RS6, Others

Here are some pics of various exhibits from the Essen Motor Show

Tesla Roadster- we were walking around the hall and I turned when I heard the sound of a Malibu boat. I was surprised to find this little guy on the middle of the carpet. It is an electric car that has a sophisticated speaker system that simulates engine and exhaust noises. It can also produce some really weird space noises. It is comparable to a Lotus Elise.

Wiesmann GT MF4- if I'm not mistaken, this is the same one that Jeremy Clarkson lowered from the middle of a motorhome. A pretty neat car. If you can see the gear selector in the last pic, it is clearly a BMW.

The Weismann uses BMW mechanics. I think the entire drivetrain is off of the E46 M3.

Vents on the front of the Murcielago (or any mid/rear engine car) = FAIL

You would not! The Xbow is too slow around the corners...
