2023 Jaguar F-TYPE R review (pro pics)

I'll bet you haven't given any thought to the Jaguar F-TYPE recently. When's the last time you even saw one?

Alas, 2023 is the car's last year, but it's going to leave a significant hole that can't be filled with an electric option.

So, it's one last roar.

Haha no no - aside from the ad banners on the site it's just a review with some cool pics. I have no Jag to sell you .

The interior in the one I sat in felt pretty cheap and it was cramped for space. Great sound, probably fun to drive, nothing I’d want to own long term.

Good looking car and sounds great but that's where it ends.

It's very heavy for such a small coupe and hence slow.

I briefly thought about one before I got my ‘23 M5C. And then I saw the light.

Ironically I had one right before the Jag

Couldn't be more different, despite the similarity in price.

My SVR did 11.4 @ 123 MPH stock and 11.2 @ 126 with just high flow cats and a tune. Plenty fast on the street.

At that price though? Naaaaaaaaaa

It's a sick car - don't get me wrong but it's in a competitive value range of some high end cars.

Feels like an 80ish car inside (amazing what we think of now as "cheaper"), but when I saw the sticker price attached to this example I couldn't believe it.

Wow, that's as fast as a 2017 ZL1!

they look and sound nice.

but the AMG GTS is better everywhere. DCT box, lighter, handles better, more reliable, also has a v8.
