pulled into my dealer this evening... they had four 1-series coupes, and three convertibles. the coupe looks GREAT! short, squat, sporty. they are going to sell like hotcakes. the convertible i was less impressed with.... good looking, but a total 'chick car'.

Sorry, but 3er and 1er verts are chick cars.

don't it's a good looking car, and i only saw the '128' convertible... but it struck me as way too soft looking for me. i'm guessing the 135 convertible is gonna be much more masculine with the M package, and bigger rims.

generally speaking i agree. i'm a roadster guy... i think convertibles look best with only two seats, with a couple exceptions (911, RS4 cab). the 3 is more woman oriented by design.... but i'm guessing the new M3 cab is going to look ferocious!

i saw a white 135i in Orlando florida. he was driving very aggressively... guess he wasnt thinking of breaking it in. anyways, seeing it in person makes me like it more than in the pictures. it looks sleek from the back and has nice flow to the body.

Oh I agree with you completely on this, but I guess from photos I thought the roof dropped on the 1er made it look less...bubbly...if you will. Too bad then.

Although a bit ricey (krauty?), I really liked the tii concept, too.
