Nice dog needs a good home
A friend of mine rescued a German Shepard mix she later discovered was microchipped. This female dog is one year old, but the original owners have since changed their address and phone number. The dog's name is Bowie (because of the eye color).
If anyone knows of a good home for this pup, please let me know. |

She lives in a 600 sq ft apartment, which is a bit small for a dog like this. The dog seems very docile and obedient.

That would be wierd having a chipped dog, without a chipped car.
I can't believe that the owners cannot be located with a name and old address. Try whitepages.com - it has all my old addresses still, going back 10 years. Contact the landlord of the dog owner's old apartment, or the realtor that sold the house. Post office will keep forwarding address for 6+ months. If the owner went through the trouble of chipping the dog, I'm sure they are really unhappy about losing it. Hire a private detective. Beautiful dog, BTW. |

yea, i'm also thinking with a little more investigative work the original owners can be tracked down.
props to your friend for rescuing the dog though! hope it all works out!!

If I adopt that dog, does your friend comes as part of the adoption? That could sway my decision to adopt or not?
But seriously, I hope the dog finds good loving new owner or the original owner is located. If i was in cali, I might jump at it. But being chipped, there is legal issues should the old onwer decided to track the dog down.

Hey, I mean no disrespect, just having a little clean fun in the offtopic.
Why does the dog have different eyes color? is that the result of improper breeding or something? someone give this dog a home...

Seriously, I don't know why. Genetic mutation? Whatever the case may be I feel it's an endearing feature of the dog. Makes him more unique and loveable. And as for the funny off-topic comments about my friend, whoever decides to adopt Bowie will have the chance to meet her as well. |

Either make fliers or give the dog to the nearest rescue center because that is the first place the owners will look. My girlfriend rescued a dog put up fliers and found the org. owner within a couple of days.
