My daily drive to work in 600hp 911 @ 175mph on Autobahn

What's the best part of living in Germany? Owning a 600hp car capable of doing 193mph of course!! Here is a video I put together of my "daily drive to work" @175mph. Please let me know what you think!

(The entire video is worth watching, but the real fun starts @6:23)

A little background about the video: This is a remake of a remake, and is NOT my real drive to work. The original video was made by a YouTuber by the name of Mace Moreland about 8 years ago, but it was titled "My daily drive to work in E46 M3 @ 165mph on Autobahn". I came across the video when I was living in Arizona and watched it quite a few times. It quickly became one of my favorite YouTube videos at the time because I was in love with the E46 M3. Fast forward about 2 or 3 years, I moved to Germany, and realized upon stumbling on his video again, that I was living in the same town where it was filmed! What a coincidence..

Fast forward another year, and I decided to do a remake of his video with my E90 M3. Fast forward another 3 years, and I've done it yet again, this time in my 2007 911 Turbo.

Mace Morelands original video:

My first remake, in my 2011 M3:
https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=VtXqS5tEqhs (remove space between . and y)

Please subscribe to me, as I'm planning to upload fairly routine videos of my 911 from now on

I hate all of you living in Europe, and Germany to be specific. I was stationed in Germany in 1975, and man what beautiful country. Just looking out at the lanscape was a picture waiting to be taken. Just so much to see and do there, with very wonderful people. That was an awseome video, and I envy that many of you can drive like this there.

The road takes up about 5-10% of the entire screen and the rest is just the interior. Why do you think anyone wants to look through a pinhole to watch a very mundane drive?

we really need this along the I5 in california... we have 300 miles of straight road with a clear field of view. no real reason we can't go fast- other than other idiots here that don't know how to stay out of the left lane.

I have done 175 in a C6 Vette, first day I bought it about an hour into my trip. The windshield wipers started riding up the shield but other than that there were no issues at all. It definitely gets your blood pumping at that speed. Great video Rat, is that top speed for your 911 or is that what you are willing to push it to?

Thanks. The car is electronically limited to 193, but this is about as high as I feel comfortable going in it. Because the car is so light in the front (rear engine) it starts to feel pretty light over 150. At 175 you feel every little bump, and not in a good way. I'm currently on H&R springs which admittedly aren't that bad as far as lowering springs are concerned, but I think when I get some proper suspension (going with Bilstein coilovers) I will feel more comfortable at higher speeds.

That video brought back some memories for me -
In 1987, I was in a modified 930 turbo driven by my cousin near Frankfurt. We hit 174mph.

It was bumping around quite a bit as well; I know what you mean about the front getting light!

The closest major city you might know is Frankfurt. I am about an hour southwest of there.

Not too sure, but it's likely not that great

I had the exact experience with my 03 996 TT on H&R springs and 19? Ruf rims .

The Front starts to float and confidence is lost.

My m3 vert at 175mph is pretty good , the braking sucks.

My 2008 m6 vert (sold) was amazing at this speed.

This. My M6 is the most stable car I've driven over 175.
