Tire and Rim warranty

FWIW, I jsut closed up the paperwork at my dealer today. They wanted $1295 for wheel and tire... He ended up agreeing to a price of $850. Shows you the markup they have on it...

I think it's a fair gamble for $850. Even covers cosmetic repairs.

A lease I assume? I was quoted $3500 for a 5 year finance deal yesterday....

Purchase... 5 years. They gave it to me for $850, but i also agreed to get the interior/exterior warranty for $699. (Originally priced at $999). I think i'm going to cancel that warranty though... (I have 30 days to cancel with a full refund). I got it originally because of my SS seats... but thinking about it, they'll probably just call everything normal wear and tear and refuse to replace it anyway.

Those numbers are great. At $850 I would have done it too. I heard someone else on an M2 had the guy down to $600 and it's the same 19's and tires. Don't know why they were talking such crazy numbers and I think it's something you have to get at signing time not after the fact.
