Is this normal oil temperature for stop-go traffic?
Stop-go traffic for about an hour, pic taken right after I parked it. Is this normal temperature? Seems a bit high. Yes I have oil cooler. |

Normal. I tend to go over 250 mainly due to a lot of low gear high revv situations. Now I don't have to be in 2nd gear all the time, but its way more fun .

That's completely normal. My car shows the same temp. Normally the temp will be a bit higher in stop and go traffic compared to highway driving.

No, it's like 245F...that is what mine ran this morning in 65F low humidity temp in stop/go in a 335i.

Normal. The newer models even have the gauge centered at 250 now.

for a normal car... however its normal for ours. ppp

I did drive the 335i and "d" is faster and more powerful....numbers are adjusted to sell cars... The 335d is the flagship of the three series, not counting the M cars... HS |

The d is faster and more powerful. The numbers are adjusted. 335d is the flagship of all 3-series.
