On this note; I read an article by a nurse, I believe, who stated about the frustrations of her job of having to see people die due to COVID. What seemed to especially frustrate her was the fact that many people do not take precautions seriously, and made the person feel like they were wasting their time. The person went on to claim that many doctors also felt the same way, and has led many in the medical to reconsider the profession, or worse, commit suicide. Is this the case where you work? Did not meant to hijack here, because I know this is not funny.

Actually, I like them because now it's by choice when I decide to take a call-back. My regular job at the clinic is strictly 9 to 5.

At night, there are no bean counters and admin desk jockeys hovering over you when you're charting. And you don't have to worry about them going into the station's kitchenette and help themselves to your food.

But when I first started in Nursing, you would always get the crappy shifts...

I just really struggled after about 4 or 5 in the morning waiting for the relief to come in. I loved 4-2 or 5-3 afternoon shifts. No brass, busy and home in time for some late night and a beer.
