That list is far from complete. No Florida wackadoodle list would be complete with at least one of the face eating events...

This is how you know it's never going to be a good story coming out of FL. If the article starts with..."A Florida man...", then it's always bad. When have you seen ..."has found a cure for cancer..." or ..."helped an old lady across the street..." Try it sometimes. It's actually pretty funny. Type in Google, "A Florida Man".

Yes, it is all true. In fact, it is actually much worse down here than you can even imagine. The local radio station does this Monday news highlights from the past week and they call it "Thinning the Herd," just another name for the Darwin Award. Most weeks it using has one if not two highlights from people in Florida who figure out new ways to remove themselves from the gene pool or get themselves locked up for a long time. You have to wonder what the hell is going on down there.

Florida is the perfect place for trashy people - warm, sunny, low cost of living, full of NE and Midwest transplants, and it borders some of the worst states in the union. It all adds up to trashy people settling down there.
But jokes aside, if you have $$ Florida is one of the best states to live in the entire country. |
