Soccer is first and foremost a team sport. You can see that demonsrated well (in a highly negative sense) by our back line. They are so damn uncoordinated, led to umpteen million chances against England, and now this. Slovenia isn't dazzling us with skill; they just know where each other is, and do a good job of getting the ball cleanly between each other.

the one thing i do like about soccer (football) is that they don't waste any time jacking around with an injured player. They get the stretcher out and haul his ass off the field so the game can continue. Wish they did that for Football, Baseball, and Basketball.
