Wifey has been giving me cooking lessons in preparation for my upcoming retirement. Tonight was Black Pepper Tofu and Baby Bok Choy over rice.

Enchiladas Costenas.

Corn tortillas filled with grilled shrimp then covered in a creamy green sauce that seemed to include avocado, then drizzled with sour cream

Last night was legit east coast Italian family restaurant. I miss places like this from when we lived in the mid-Atlantic. It’s an unknown cuisine in the Midwest.

Our table had:

Linguine with white clam sauce
Ossobuco
Cioppino

Thanks! It was quite delicious. I've been makingmy own marinade these days. I let them marinade for 48hrs. Super tender and flavorful.

Wifey's "chili." More like a stew. Ground beef, several different colored bell peppers, 3 different types of beans, onions, chili peppers, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, sweet corn, chili powder, and a few other spices she throws in. Top a bowlful with shredded cheese and sour cream. Delish.

Not a recipe from a book... 3 ingredients: Sausage, Mini Wonton, Caramelized Onion and any sauce & garnish you like.

It's Tiggie, a year old female that we got from a rescue organization 9 months ago and follows me every where like a dog. Back then she fitted in my hand. She is now 10 lbs and stretch 36". She is very good and wait for her turn on pretty well anything we eat.

She still haven't figure out that if she tip the cup she will get a bundle of nibbles
