i have my coupe that does it, and a few times this winter here in boston the windows froze so i couldnt open the door without basically forcing the window out. then i couldnt shut the door, so i had to drive with the door partially open util it heated up :mad:

wow, i've never heard of such a feature. that would be really cool to have, although, i don't find closing the doors on the E90 very difficult.

Its only on coupes and only because they have no top door frame, so the window has to move out of the rubber seal to allow the door to open

My sister's 330Ci does it and I find it annoying. I'm always thinking I'm going to break the window if I open it too quickly because it sort of catches on the bottom edge on the roof. I know it won't actually break, but I can't escape the feeling.

I do prefer the frameless windows on the coupes, just seems cooler to me

My old E30 had framed windows even though it was a 2 door
