We have very dry summers in July/August/September and then the Pacific Northwest spigot turns on and it is rainy starting in October. Except that we got a day or so of sprinkles and now we are 80s and no rain for all week. What?!? Very odd year.

I thought I had heard about this once, and yup it's a thing. http://www.goatgrazers.ca/ That's just one company but there's likely others that rent out goats lol.

Getting down to frost at night... debating whether or not to do the winter tire switch a bit early. I think I'll play it safe and wait another couple weeks.

Only one house in this 'hood has a fence. Goats would be everywhere.

I have a lawn service for that! My weekend project needed a continuous 12 amps of power at 120 volts for most of the day, which obviously isn't happening with a cordless tool. Thankfully the drizzle stopped around lunch, and the task has been completed.....

Mid Atlantic here, dealing with the on going remnants from hurricane Ian. Nothing like Florida and south of here ! . Rain, wind, flooding, and temps 20 degrees below normal since Friday.

Another dreary and drizzly day here, with temps bouncing around the mid-40's F. Been this way since the weekend, and the forecast keeps promising that it will be nicer and sunny "tomorrow" but it isn't. We had 0.30" of rain overnight, so at least there's a plus to this dreary week.....

I caught a small break in the action this morning driving to work and actually saw colors in the sky as the sun rose. It didn't last long, the sky opened up again soon after.

Warm day with a high of 73 for a change, mornings are still cold.

I don't even want to discuss it. My evil twin comes out when they change the clocks in November. I hate that bitch. I'll be cranky until March when they spring ahead.

Already there. Afternoon is nice enough to ride the motorcycle, but I just don't like beginning the ride in the dark.

Goat pupils weird me out but the kids are all right.

Remember driving by a goat farm a couple weeks ago and they set up a tree house style jungle gym for them, super funny.

There's a bright yellow thingy in the sky here, and the thermometer is just short of 70 F. Summer is back...at least for another day or so.....

One of the things I miss from back home(10950) is the Fall,I know you guys have perfect windows-open sleeping weather this time of year. Perfect motorcycle riding time too.

Still have to use the A/C during the day for the for the next 4-6wks here but it did cool down right before we narrowly dodged Ian last week. I've had enough of the humid 90f+ weather this season

43 degrees this morning, 85 this afternoon. Hard to dress appropriately for a 42 degree swing!
